Having two kids of my own, I seriously considered not doing maternity photos, but let me tell you, my boys love looking back at the photos, in awe and wonder, and imagining themselves inside my tummy. I was reminded that while these photos were a part of documenting my pregnancy, it was also documenting the start of their story, of their new life. I remember not feeling confident. I remember not wanting the extra pounds to show. I remember thinking my husband’s cell phone photos were enough. But I’m so happy I changed my mind. Maternity photos are such a cherished part of the experience and I think our AH-MAZING bodies deserve to be documented.

I will help style you and find outfits that flatter, while highlighting that sweet baby bump. You deserve to be pampered and take photos as you prepare for your family to grow. I have photographed hundreds of expecting mamas and I tear up almost every time because I truly know how special this time is. It feels like forever while you’re in it, but I promise you, you will look back and think of how fast the time went. You will NEVER regret taking the photos.

I will capture the tenderness and expectancy, the joy and the love as you wait to meet your baby. I want you to look back and remember what it felt like to have fluttering feet inside your tummy. I want you to see how your husband looks at you, the mother of his children, and see how beautiful you are with that pregnancy glow. I want your child to look back and see the start of their story.

Maternity Sessions are $650 and come with an hour shoot and 60+ edited images. (50% due at time of booking with balance due on the date of the session.)

A Fresh 48 session are documentary style photos that take place in the hospital within the first two days of the baby’s birth. This is a chance to document many of the breathtaking moments that accompany new life. Although you may have tons of iPhone photos taken by a tired husband or family member, it’s so much easier to have me come in a document this time as a family (so dad can be in the photos, but really, so I can document real emotion instead of a double-chinned-selfie that dad took). Every birth story is different and no matter how you plan, things always tend to go their own way. Whatever way your baby comes into this world, let me just tell you that those first hours will feel like a blur. Having photos of this time is a priceless gift, because hardly anyone remembers those exhausting hours after giving birth. Don’t miss this opportunity: Your baby changes so much within the first few weeks; those hours-old-newborn photos are something that will bring tears to your eyes for decades to come.

You bring your new baby home and start settling into life. It’s a new chapter, a new season, a new life. Now is the perfect time to do a newborn lifestyle session in your home. Trust me, in-home sessions are a wonderful way to capture this time with your family. Less stress, more comfort. This is ideal especially if you have other kids, as they naturally feel more comfortable in their own environment. We will focus on photos of baby bonding with family, all the tiny details of baby. These are very natural and relaxed, no props, just authentic love. These first weeks of newborn life are exhausting, save your sanity, and let me come to you.
